About
Reyna Delcid is a first generation Salvadoran - American designer and photographer. The youngest of four children and raised in Silver Spring, Maryland by her parents who fled the civil war in El Salvador in the 80’s, she has always had an interest in observing the interaction of people and their surroundings. In between her years of study, she traveled in pursuit of documenting the coexistence between humans and their built environment. Much of her work as a designer and photographer has focused on the human experience and what has helped people suffer less amidst any level of adversity. After graduating from the University of Maryland’s School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation in 2018, she moved to New York to do architectural/construction related work and photography. She is continuing her studies in sustainable design and narrowing down her photography on the Latin American diaspora experience within and outside the United States.
